Objectives:

Work Services:
A cross-functional team met and adopted the Baldrige process, a
national standard of excellence in the government setting. The team
developed the criteria and method of implementation in addition to
training and support systems for each of the state's departments. A
pilot was conducted over a 2-year period with all departments eventually
required to go through the assessment process.
Results:
- Standardized framework developed and deployed.
- Annual assessment process developed and deployed.
- Examiners trained on the assessment program.
- Bi-annual process in place for each department.
