STAR is a project based training and consulting program using the Six Sigma methodology that takes what is learned in the classroom and applies it immediately to a relevant project in the organization. Utilizing the Six Sigma Green Belt and Yellow Belt training materials, WHY! Company will take up to five Project Teams from project selection to project completion through a combination of classroom training, team advising and Business Guidance Team consulting over a sixteen week period of time. There are five main objectives:

1. Certify up to 5 participants as Lean Six Sigma Green Belts.
2. Certify up to 20 Team Members as Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belts.
3. Complete up to five actual business projects.
4. Realize an ROI through the completion of the projects of no less then the cost of the program.
5. Develop STAR's (Team Leaders) within the organization that have the capabilities to repeat the process again and again to continue delivering value.
